As for us, our departure date has finally arrived. We will be flying out of Logan Airport tonight at 9:30pm. It feels like we have everything prepared, yet we cannot escape the feeling that we are forgetting something. It is also an eerie feeling to know that I will not be returning to the comfort of my home, my bed, my mothers cooking etc.,...for quite some time. Overall though, we are anxious, excited and ready to begin this new adventure together. Farewell USA...get ready World.

Dad and I woke up this morning (before 7amEST) and the first thing he said was "i think they're flying over the English Channel right now"......so, you are both at the top of our thoughts and we hope the first leg of your adventure was uneventful and even included several hours of sleep.
